Plastic Liners for Truck Trays and Tubs
A bare steel or timber truck tray takes a beating from every load of rock, sand, scrap or aggregate that goes in and out, and sticky loads that won't tip clean cost time and fuel every trip. A cut-to-size plastic liner protects the tray from impact and abrasion while giving loads a low-friction surface to slide off.
We cut HDPE and UHMWPE liner sheet to your tray or tub dimensions, either as a full-floor liner or as separate floor and side panels bolted or fixed in place.
HDPE vs UHMWPE for Truck Liner Applications
HDPE is the standard choice for general truck tray liners, tough, impact-resistant and cost-effective for floor and side panels on tippers, utes and trailers carrying aggregate, scrap, sand or general bulk loads.
UHMWPE steps up in abrasion resistance and has an even lower coefficient of friction, making it the better option for the heaviest-duty tipper applications, high-impact loading points, or where load stick has been a persistent problem with a standard liner.
Yellow mining-spec HDPE adds UV stability and extra toughness for liners exposed to continuous outdoor duty and harsh mine-site conditions.
Reducing Load Stick and Protecting the Tray
Loads that stick to a bare steel tray don't just waste time tipping. Repeated hammering to shift stuck material dents and eventually cracks the tray itself. A low-friction plastic liner lets material release cleanly under normal tipping action, cutting both delay and structural wear on the vehicle.
Liners also stop direct metal-on-material contact, which is the main driver of tray corrosion and denting over the life of the vehicle.
Mining and Heavy-Duty Truck Applications
Mining and quarry tipper fleets are the heaviest users of plastic tray liners, running UHMWPE or thick-gauge HDPE liners to handle constant loading of ore, aggregate and rock without punching through.
The same liners suit council and civil trucks handling asphalt, sand and general fill, and rural trucks and utes carrying feed, fertiliser or scrap.

Send us your tray or tub dimensions (length, width, side wall height and any obstructions like wheel arches or headboard shape) and we'll cut a liner kit sized to fit, with fixing holes to suit your preferred mounting method.
