Sneeze Guards

A sneeze guard is a food safety fixture as much as a physical barrier, required over self-serve buffets, salad bars, bakery cases, and food counters to stop airborne contamination from reaching exposed food. Cut from clear acrylic or polycarbonate sheet, a well-fitted sneeze guard protects food without hiding it from customers browsing a display.

Because food service layouts vary widely, most sneeze guards need to be custom fitted rather than bought off the shelf, matching the exact counter shape, serving angles, and existing display equipment.

Standard sneeze guard shapes include straight vertical panels, angled guards that slope back over a display for better visibility, and curved or wraparound guards for circular buffet stations. We fabricate all of these to your exact counter dimensions rather than a generic standard size.

For multi-station buffets, we can produce a full set of matching guards designed to work together as one continuous barrier along a serving line, including corner and end pieces.

Sneeze guards should be positioned and sized in line with local food safety guidance for your venue type, generally covering food from above and to the sides while leaving enough clearance for staff to serve efficiently. Smooth, rounded edges and food-safe fixings should be used throughout.
