How letter and stencil pricing is calculated
- Live cut-to-size rate per square metre direct from our PIM, multiplied by the total character area.
- Cutting is charged on actual laser time - the cut-path length around every character divided by the cut speed for that material thickness.
- Thicker materials cut slower, so they take more machine time and cost more (e.g. 10mm acrylic cuts at half the speed of 6mm - twice the laser time).
- Stencils are priced as a single sheet covering the full text + 20mm margin each side.
- Laser bed validates against 3000mm × 1500mm - soft warning above 90%, hard block at the limit.
