How does a circular champagne tower work?
In a circular tower, each tier arranges glasses in concentric rings within a circle. The base tier has the full diameter, and each subsequent tier shrinks by one glass across. Glasses nestle into the gaps of the tier below.
How does a square champagne tower work?
A square tower uses an N×N grid of glasses per tier. Each tier reduces by one row and one column, so the base might be 5×5 (25 glasses), the next tier 4×4 (16), and so on up to a single glass at the top.
What size glasses should I use?
Classic champagne coupes (saucers) with a rim diameter of about 95-110 mm are the traditional choice. Flutes are taller and narrower (55-70 mm rim) but harder to stack. The default 100 mm works for standard coupes.
