PLEXIGLAS ® Gallery & Museum AR is a premium, optically clear acrylic sheet designed specifically for high-end framing and display applications. Featuring an advanced anti-reflective coating on both sides, it dramatically reduces surface glare while maintaining exceptional light transmission. The result is a virtually invisible glazing solution that allows artwork, photography, and displays to be viewed with true colour accuracy and minimal distraction.

Unlike standard acrylic or glass, this anti-reflective grade significantly improves viewing clarity under natural and artificial lighting conditions. It enhances contrast and detail, making it ideal for environments where presentation quality is critical. In addition to its optical performance, PLEXIGLAS® offers the inherent benefits of acrylic - it is lighter than glass, more impact resistant, and easier to handle and install.

The 2mm thickness is well suited to smaller frames, lightweight installations, and situations where reducing overall weight is important. It is ideal for residential framing, photographic prints, certificates, and smaller gallery pieces.

The 3mm thickness provides increased rigidity and improved span capability, making it better suited for larger frames, commercial installations, and museum displays where additional strength and durability are required.

Important: the print must sit directly behind the sheet

Owing to its reflex-scattering effect, anti-reflective gallery acrylic is designed for picture glazing with the artwork or print placed directly behind it, in contact or as close as possible.

If there is a gap between the sheet and the print (for example in a box frame, with spacers or in a display case), the image will look hazy or less sharp, and the further away the print is, the less clear it becomes. For framing with a gap, choose clear acrylic instead, or contact our team before ordering.
