PERSPEX Frost is a premium cast acrylic sheet with a double-sided satin matt finish that resembles acid-etched or sandblasted glass. It is manufactured by 3A Composites and available in four colour collections: Pastel, Vivid, Urban and Hot, totalling over 30 colours.

Most coloured PERSPEX Frost sheets have constant transmission, meaning the light transmission stays the same regardless of sheet thickness. A 3mm sheet and a 15mm sheet in the same colour will transmit the same amount of light. This makes colour matching across different thicknesses straightforward.

Yes. PERSPEX Frost has good UV and weathering resistance and is rated for long-term exterior use of 10 years or more. It is also sea water resistant, making it suitable for coastal and marine applications.

PERSPEX Frost has the same mechanical strength and chemical resistance as standard PERSPEX cast acrylic, but features a double-sided satin matt finish instead of a glossy surface. Yes. PERSPEX Frost can be CNC cut, laser cut with good optical quality, waterjet cut, drilled, engraved, hot bent, thermoformed, flame polished, screen printed, sublimation printed and glued. It machines the same as standard cast acrylic.

PERSPEX Frost comes in four collections. Pastel includes Crystal Clear, Polar White, Blush Pink, Glacier Green, Green, Aurora Violet, Electric Blue and Arctic Blue. Vivid includes Azure Blue, Saffron Yellow, Burnt Orange, Raspberry Red, Lime Zest, Lemon Sorbet, Violet Heather and Perfect Plum. Urban includes Opal, Cream, Sandstone Brown, Red, Earth Brown, Brown, Slate Grey, Stone Grey and Emerald Green. Hot includes Citrus Yellow, Yellow, Mandarin Orange, Chilli Red, Sapphire Blue and Jade Green.

PERSPEX Frost is commonly used for architectural lighting, LED panel diffusers, illuminated signage, privacy screens and partitions, decorative wall cladding, retail display, shopfitting, furniture, kitchen splashbacks, shower screens and ceiling features. Its soft light diffusion makes it particularly popular for lighting applications.

Standard sheet size is 3050 x 2030mm. Thicknesses range from 2mm to 20mm depending on the colour. Crystal Clear and Polar White are available in the widest thickness range (2-20mm). Most coloured options are available from 3mm to 15mm.
